    Mission & Vision

    Mission Statement

    Reach – Restore – Rise – Respond

At Hope 4 You, LLC, (H4Y) we are committed to transforming lives through accessible, compassionate, and culturally responsive care.

Reach Out – We ensure access through confidential communication channels—including phone, text, email, and direct referrals—so help is never out of reach for those facing barriers to care.

Restoration – We provide trauma-informed, person-centered therapy tailored to each person’s needs, honoring the lived experiences of individuals, families, and communities impacted by injustice, trauma, and marginalization.

Rise-Up – We invest in the future of behavioral health by training and mentoring diverse clinicians and advocates. Our programs uplift voices that have been underrepresented in the field and equip professionals to deliver equitable, informed care.

Respond – We stand alongside individuals and communities through direct service, education, and policy advocacy. Whether providing therapy or speaking out against systems of oppression, we are dedicated to building resilience, advancing equity, and creating lasting change.

“We believe mental health is a human right. That’s why we go beyond therapy to challenge the structural and social conditions that affect our clients’ well-being—amplifying community voices, partnering for change, and pushing for policies that protect the most vulnerable.”

    Core Values

Compassion – We are committed to meeting each person with empathy, understanding, kindness, and gentleness,  honoring their unique journey, and respecting their readiness to heal. Our trauma-informed approach ensures that every client receives care grounded in kindness and respect.

Service – We believe in the power of service to uplift and support our community. Through accessible mental health services and personalized support, we are dedicated to helping individuals achieve wellness, knowing that serving others is at the heart of our mission.

Hope – We foster resilience and inspire hope, empowering our clients to pursue growth and change. Just as hope strengthens us through life’s challenges, we walk alongside each person, helping them realize their potential and achieve their personal goals.

Integrity – We uphold trust and transparency in all we do, striving to be a dependable source of guidance for our clients and community. Our commitment to integrity ensures that we provide honest support and resources that reflect our dedication to each person’s well-being.

Community – Collaboration is key to the work we do. By partnering with clients, other agencies, and community resources, we create a network of support that fosters connection, strength, and shared growth. Together, we are stronger, and together, we can create lasting positive change.

    Advocating for Systemic Change

At H4Y, we believe mental health is a human right. Every day, we see how racism, poverty, immigration status, and systemic injustice prevent too many from receiving the care they deserve. As part of our mission to Reach, Restore, Rise, and Respond, we advocate for local and national policies that remove barriers to care, strengthen community supports, and build equity into the mental health system.

    Land Acknowledgement Statement

We acknowledge that the building in which our mental health outpatient clinic in Suitland, Maryland, resides on traditional and ancestral homelands of the Piscataway People. The Piscataway Nation has cared for this place for generations, long before colonization, and their history, culture, and presence continue to enrich this region.

We would like to acknowledge the displacement and erasure of the Piscataway and other Indigenous peoples that occurred as a result of colonization. As we do this work—both in virtual and in-person meetings and trainings—we would like to recognize the resiliency and ongoing contributions of Indigenous communities. We are committed to furthering awareness, respect, and meaningful action in ways that support Indigenous sovereignty and well-being. This acknowledgment of the land is one small part of fostering understanding and justice for the original stewards of this land.
